Purpose of the job


The purpose of Recruitment Managers is to oversee the recruitment process for leathergoods in its entirety. This includes designing and modifying recruiting procedures, recording recruiting metrics, supervising the local recruitment and monitoring their performance. Their goal is always to make the company's recruitment process as efficient and effective as possible.


Key job responsibilities and Principle Accountability


  • Provide an efficient, high-touch experience for every candidate from application to offer, acting as candidate advocate, evaluating skill level, and driving the interview and offer processes
  • Implement strategic hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment measures
  • Work with local human resources department to confirm hiring needs and requirements
  • Oversee the hiring of upper management and executives
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting)
  • Create and suggest new and effective interviewing procedures and techniques
  • Engage in effective recruitment methods to determine useful applicant markets
  • Review local recruitment software (database of the applicants) and suggest the best option for company needs. Animate LV software
  • Directly interact with job candidates and respond to initial queries
  • Process and track applicant job submissions
  • Manage recruitment databases
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews
  • Refer qualified and selected applicants to specific department for further interviews
  • Manage recruitment efforts and advertising budgets
  • Set clear goals and benchmarks for local recruitment team
  • Document and present detailed progress reports of recruiting campaigns
  • Attend recruiting fairs to find prospective employees
  • Recommend ways to improve our employer branding
  • Demonstrate to candidates a positive reflection or our brand and company
  • Adherence to fair employment laws and practices
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners


Required study level for this job

Master's degree

Appropriate programs of study including human resources and education

Required experience for this job

5+ years as an in-house recruiter in a high growth environment supporting a diverse set of functions

Experience hiring for roles within Fashion Apparel, Retail, Manufacturing


Strategic thinker able to deliver practical and effective solutions

High level of organizational skills

Self-motivation andability to navigate ambiguity

Excellent communication skills, including active listening abilities and presentation skills; confidence speaking with people of varied experience levels and backgrounds

Capable of evaluating and changing priorities on an as-needed basis

Sense of urgency with a focus on continuous improvement

Ability to work under stress

Focus on a qualitative internal customer service.

Willing to travel

Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
