The Opportunity:

As Sephora’s Workforce Planning Analyst you will be responsible for setting the Australian and New Zealand stores up for success while driving efficiencies and optimizations.  As a Workforce Planning Analyst, you will partner cross functionally with Retail operations, HR, and Finance and are responsible for the appropriate labour investments across our stores to drive the best client and employee experience.  You have a natural curiosity for digging into information to gain business insights to support the development and adaptation of strategies.

This role is the first of its kind in Sephora ANZ, so given this, you will have the chance to build out the department and make an enormous difference to the entire ANZ business.

  • Source and transform data to help build and run a timely and accurate volume forecast
  • Support store growth and evoluation through labour planning. Workforce management experience, particularly forecasting/modelling and real-time coordination.
  • Payroll hour and headcount modelling and monthly spread. Proven ability to manage for maximum efficiency and productivity across workforce and operational processes.
  • Conduct monthly payroll analyses and supervise trends weekly in the ANZ market to understand opportunities and risks; provide updates to the business via key functional meetings
  • Prepare data and trend analysis for weekly and monthly reporting including financial (Payroll and KPI's) and operational content and share insights cross functionally. Provide expertise and advice regarding potential industrial, financial and support implications for proposed roster changes.
  • Use data and advance analytics technique to identify opportunity to innovate, optimise workforces and processes and continuously improve
  • Build and update the business models to size potential business opportunities and strategic priorities through positive relationships with key partners cross functionally (ANZ and Regional-SG)

 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in workforce planning, forecasting or scheduling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization including non-finance teams and the Executive level
  • Proven success in critical thinking and decision making; understanding when to seek assistance
  • Degree in Finance or business is highly preferred
  • Advance Expertise of Excel and Financial Systems. 
  • Strong modelling skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
