Primary responsibility is financial planning with focus on detailed analysis of SAPAC financial performance as well as support through close partnership with Markets Finance Business Partners, Market Directors, key stakeholders from various regional office functions (HR, Comms, Client Relations, Retail Excellence) and from Head Office in New York.

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for P&L management as the finance business partner to Singapore Regional Office, which includes detailed review and analysis of labor, marketing expenses and other OPEX spend.
  • Review and monitor expense spending for the Regional Office and work with Hong Kong shared service centre to ensure timeliness and accuracy of expense coding.
  • Consolidate and provide analysis and recommendation on SAPAC weekly sales estimates, monthly competition sales and stores commercial target. 
  • Prepare monthly sales commentaries & productivity reports, presentation decks to Senior leadership team and ad-hoc requests from Global.
  • Review, analyze and track SAPAC monthly financial performance (full P/L), flag out irregularities and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up with action plans.
  • Support on SAPAC annual Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting process, Sales and Expenses consolidation and analysis.
  • Act as liaison between countries and global FP&A on financial matters and communications.
  • Act as a finance support to Zone FP&A Manager / Zone CFO in regional reporting.
  • Act pro-actively to minimize reporting efforts and streamline processes & reporting templates.
  • Completing ad-hoc projects that may be assigned during the course of work

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Degree holder in Accounting / Finance with international accounting qualification.
  • 5-7 years of working experience, including 2-4 years of FP&A experience 
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical acumen. Proficient with mathematical modeling techniques for scenario testing and goal setting.
  • Good interpersonal skill, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of self-management and ability to function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to extract complex data and analyze it to monitor business performance and identify trends
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

 

Preferred

  • Experience with Business Objects and Hyperion.
