About this Role:

As the HR Business Partner for LVMH Watches & Jewelry in Australia, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR strategies and initiatives that support the success of our esteemed brands. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, Southeast Asia and Australia, this individual-contributor role will collaborate closely with the HR team based in the Melbourne office to deliver exceptional HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our workforce while upholding the exceptional standards of luxury synonymous with the LVMH name.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Talent acquisition efforts for the division, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source top talent, and manage the recruitment process. Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline aligned with the unique needs of each brand.

 

Employee Engagement:

  • With brand leaders to implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives that enhance employee morale, productivity, and retention. Lead the execution of employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and drive actionable insights to improve the employee experience.

 

Employee Relations:

  • As a trusted advisor and mediator in employee relations matters, fostering positive working relationships and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations issues and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies

 

Learning and Development:

  • With the HR team to identify learning and development needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

 

HR Metrics, Analytics, and Projects:

  • HR metrics and analytics to track and analyze key HR metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to drive informed HR decisions. Lead and support HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and enhance HR processes and practices.

 

HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle:

  • With the HR team in Melbourne and facilitate HR operations related to employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance management. Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies while delivering efficient and effective HR services to employees.

Profilo

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8 – 10 years of HR experience, with experience in business partner or equivalent role. Experience in the luxury retail industry or similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations, with experience in managing HR operations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of influencing and driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex HR concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven HR decisions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
